You ran a teleclass and only 3 people signed up – what went wrong?
Let’s take a reality check. Out of 1000 people on your list, about 200 will open your invitation, 90 might sign up for your call, 60 will show up live, and 3 will purchase your program. So before you start blaming your conversion, look at your list size. Of course, these numbers will depend on your relationship with your list, attractiveness of your offer, and the follow-up you do after your call is over. But if you want more sales from your teleseminars and webinars, it’s critical to get yourself in front of more people online and offline, and grow your mailing list!
- Are you using social media to drive people to your opt-in page?
- Are you collecting names and emails when you speak to audiences?
- Are you partnering with other people reaching your market?
- Are you publishing valuable and relevant content that leads people to your web site?
If you want to sell more products and programs, and don’t want to do 1-on-1 selling (e.g. networking, free sessions, etc.), then focus on growing your mailing list first!
